If Robert Stone Brand is to survive, Aliyah & Jessi Kamea need to start getting along. To help the process, Robert Stone would get Kamea some gear to match with Aliyah ahead of tonight’s match. They need to start getting some wins if they want to get into the conversation for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, and beating Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter could go a very long way.
Robert Stone Brand Gets Taken Down Again
Last week, both Catanzaro & Carter were absolutely mauled by Xia Li after they tried to talk sense into her. They’re still concerned about Li, but need to focus on this match. Catanzaro would climb Kamea like she’s a mountain, hitting an impressive hurricanrana before tagging in Carter.
Carter would set Kamea up on the ropes, and she’d be sandwiched with kicks. At this time, Boa made his way to the ramp and distracted Carter, allowing Kamea to hit from behind. RSB hit a double team cutter, but Carter was able to tag in Catanzaro. Seeing Boa just fired Catanzaro up, and she’d nail Aliyah with lightning fast strikes. Catanzaro went up top as Carter set up the neckbreaker, ending this one.
Xia Li Challengers Kacy Catanzaro
Xia Li made her way to ringside, and Catanzaro would ask for Catanzaro to talk to her. Instead, Li just marked her hand and challenged her to a match next week. “”Next week, I will purge ???.” was her exact words We’ve seen how matches with Xia Li go at this point, putting away opponents in a matter of seconds. She put away Cora Jade in 45 seconds, and Valentina Forez in just 24 seconds. That’s faster than even Karrion Kross.
Catanzaro is a higher tier of opponents than what Li has been facing since coming back from her re-education through punishment. It won’t be easy, but Catanzaro has a chance to prove that this new Xia Li is beatable. She just needs to use her insane speed to make sure she doesn’t get her head kicked clean off.
