The winner of this match gets to decide who goes into the Miz’s spot in the Elimination Chamber, so WWE Raw Results thinks it’ll be a pretty fun match.
This match started fast with Miz and Kingston locking up as soon as the bell rang.
Miz locked in a wrist lock, and Kingston reversed it into an armbar and then a rear waist lock.
Miz got loose, but Kingston locked in an armbar and dragged him over to the mat.
Another reversal into a side headlock by the Miz on Kingston led to Kingston whipping him into the ropes and Miz hitting a shoulder block.
Kingston leapfrogged him a couple of times and tried a reverse elbow, but the Miz caught him in an attempted Skull Crushing Finale.
Kingston got loose and Miz caught himself on the ropes to avoid a Trouble in Paradise.
Miz backed him into the corner during a lockup, then shoved Kingston and Kingston shoved him back, knocking him down.
The Miz then locked in a rear waist lock, but Kingston powered out of it and Miz caught him with a kick.
He whipped Kingston into a corner and ran into a boot and then a forearm. Kingston headed to the top rope and hit an axhandle for a pin attempt.
Miz rolled of the outside and Kingston went after him. Miz missed a sliding kick through the ropes when Kingston chased him into the ring, and Kingston hit him with a kick, and then a big wind up kick on the apron.
Kington hit another axhandle off he apron and rolled Miz into the ring for a near pinfall.
The Miz then caught Kingston with a knee to the midsection off the ropes. Kingston ducked a running kick and rolled the Miz up for a pin attempt.
Kingston hit a kick, and then a dropkick off the middle turnbuckle after being whipped into the corner for a near pinfall.
Kingston hit another kick for a pin attempt, and Miz hit a jawbreaker and tried to throw Kingston to the floor.
Kingston used the ropes to springboard back and caught Miz with another kick that sent the Miz to the ring apron.
Kingston when for a shoulder through the ropes and Miz met him with a kick, and then hit a neckbreaker on the ropes and apron.
Miz hit another neckbreaker off the apron and onto the floor as we headed to commercial.
Kingston finds a way
WWE Raw Results returned from commercial and they were back in the ring with Miz in control as he hit a series of kicks and a left to drop Kingston.
Kingston caught his next kick attempt and hit a jackknife cover for a near pinfall.
The Miz then hit a DDT for a pin attempt, and the Miz then hammered away on Kingston before throwing him to the floor.
The Miz bounced Kingston’s head off the announce desk, and dropped Kingston onto the barricade before throwing Kingston into the ring.
Miz hit an axhandle off the top ropes for a near pinfall. Mix locked in a neck hold and hit a series of knees.
Kingston fought out with a couple of elbows and slipped Miz over. He then hit Miz with a series of rights but hit the turnbuckle when the Miz sidestepped his dive.
Miz hit a kick for a pin attempt and then nailed Kingston with another left.
Kingston hit a series of strikes and kicks and then a stomp to counter Miz coming off the ropes.
Kingston then hit an axhandle, a kick, and a clothesline before hitting a double leg drop. Kingston readied to close it out, but Mix ducked a Trouble in Paradise and rolled Kingston up for a near pinfall.
Kingston countered the Miz into an SOS for another near pinfall. Kingston hit a crossbody off the top rope but the Miz rolled through for a near pin.
Kingston then nearly caught Mia with a through the ropes kick when he charged into a corner, but the Miz blocked it and wrapped Kingston’s leg around the top rope, then hung it up on the ropes.
The Miz then locked in a figure 4 but Kingston made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Kingston countered a Skull Crushing Finale by rolling the Miz up for a near pinfall, then hit a Trouble in Paradise for the win.
Backstage, Lana was asked how she was able to pull off he win last week, and she said she just wants to be her best and gave it her all.
She cited Naomi as her lucky charm.
Naomi added that after everything Nia Jax has put Lana through, she deserved to go through the table and so much more.
Unfinished business
Randy Orton was backstage as said that after last week, thanks to Sheamus, the business between he and McIntyre remains unfinished.
He said that’s okay because he’s going to win the gauntlet match tonight and it’s a daunting task for anyone not named Randy Orton.
He brought up the Fiend and how he took care of that problem by lighting him on fire and he’s no more.
As far as he’s concerned, he won’t be in the ring with five opponents but victims of RKO.
The screen went staticy and switched to a darkened Firefly Fun House and Alexa Bliss as the Fiendess.
She sprinkled some ashes and said fire leads to strength, but in the future he will be reborn.
It then showed she was kneeling in a pentagram and the candle went out and the light turned red.
Bliss laughed evilly as it appears the Fiend may have returned.
