WWE Raw results tuned in as Ric Flair welcomed us back by saying there are people wanting an explanation why he wants to main eventing.
He pointed out that he doesn’t take orders from a women and he won’t stay home when his daughter tells him to.
We have to admit, this is possibly one of the best storyline going at the moment. Anyway, back to the topic at hand.
He said we know Charlotte Flair is the Queen and she doesn’t need him, but he needs him and he met someone that has all the tools to be a star and she needs the knowledge and wisdom.
He made sure to point out their relationship is just casual, but if Evans is overwhelmed by his charisma then so be it.
He added that they’re putting Asuka on notice as Evans is coming after her title.
Evans said she treats Ric like the living legend he is, and Charlotte’s a fool for turning him aside and that she’d never speak to her father how Charlotte speaks to him.
Charlotte then came out looking as intense as ever.
Odd sense of reality
Once in the ring, Charlotte told Evans if she really wanted to learn she’d go to the Performance Center and told her she’s seen her antics a hundred times.
She told Evans to shut up before she could say anything, and Charlotte said she never said no to his help and she’s spent the last 7 years protecting his image.
She doesn’t care who he manages as long as he doesn’t take her down with him.
Evans told her she just wants to learn and they don’t have to fight and that she is a better tag partner than Asuka.
Ric said they can be a tag team, but Charlotte said she’s been trying to prove she can do it on her own and refused to work with her because she has a partner.
Evans pointed out that if she beats Charlotte in a match, then she’ll face Asuka in a championship match.
Charlotte wanted to have their match and Evans blindsided her while Ric tried to stop Charlotte.
Evans then threw Charlotte into the ring steps and said she accepts the match that was promoted for tonight.
Interesting how they can issue a challenge and accept when the match was promoted throughout the day. Whoops. Guess WWE Raw Results weren’t supposed to mention that.
