‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers are set as it looks like we’re Genoa City is heading into some fun times as we’ll find out who Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) chooses a winner in the Cyaxares sweepstakes.
It’ll add some much needed spice, but we expect it’ll be more along the lines of an excuse to give the Newmans a new weapon to use against the Abbotts.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 18: Shocking news
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been trying to deal with his personal relationship on the verge of falling apart because of Victoria Newman (Ameila Heinle)’s meddling, and he’ll receive surprising news.
Our first instinct is it’s Ashland agreeing to see to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), which would give the writer’s something to keep tensions between the families high.
This also makes sense given Ashland noticed how Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and his wife interacted and this would be a great way to hurt the Abbotts for that.
Instead, let’s consider the possibility he chose Billy to spy on Kyle. Ashland did say he’d remain on the board, so it’d give him plenty of opportunity to keep tabs on Kyle as he plots to destroy him.
It’s an overcomplicated plan that fits perfectly with the show and could add a third element to the ongoing feud between the Abbots and Newmans.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 18: Phyllis gets her chance
It looks like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will finally get her chance to tear into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers can’t wait to see what happens.
This if going to be a fun segment simply because these are two women no one wants to mess with, and Phyllis will take her shot at putting the fiery redhead in her place.
We expect some fun barbs, a threat or two mixed in with a promise, but at the end of it all, Sally will point out she has no interest in causing trouble and there’s peace as long as they don’t do anything.
This won’t sit well with Phyllis since she likes to make things happen, but she won’t have much of a choice.
We can’t help but wonder how Summer Newman (Hunter King) will react when she finds out her mom stepped up to defend her when she didn’t want her to, plus the fear of what it could mean.
Nothing like seeing Phyllis potentially touch off a war, but someone had to make a move before Kyle finds a way to really screw things up.
