Peyton Royce left off some steam on RAW and felt aggrieved that her talent was not being showcased to the world. And by the sounds of it, this has been going on for a while and brewing under the surface.
Peyton Royce Lets Off Major Steam On RAW Claiming-‘Why Not Give Me A Chance’
During her appearance on RAW Talk, she blasted those who she felt were getting in the way of her exposure. She said: “I have been quiet, but closed mouths don’t get paid. I’m not here to hide my talents. In fact, my talents are hiding behind the opinions of others. Why not just let me go?”
So, where does this hate all stem from? Well, it seems Peyton is not getting the chance to face the best. Case in point, the injury to RAW Women’s Champion Asuka could have opened a door for another person: Peyton. And yet, she feels she is not getting a look in.
Peyton added: “Asuka is injured, and that sucks for her. But when a talent goes down, a spot opens up. And why not me? Why does it always have to be the same old, same old? I packed up my life, moved across the world to chase this dream. For what? To get stuck in the locker room and watch them do what I do better than 98 percent of them?”
And she signed off the interview in an emotional fashion. Peyton was visibly shedding a few tears to show just how much the wrestling business meat to her. Even Peyton’s mother recently had to call out Charlotte Flair, who Peyton believes is getting too much recognition because of her association with her father, Ric Flair. All this has left a bitter taste in the mouth.
Peyton noted: “It actually hurts when you know deep in your soul. You are destined to be where you are when you’re striving for what you believe you truly deserve. This is where I’m meant to be. My patience has been running thin. So stop wasting my time and give me Asuka.”
