On every other console games like most Battle Royale games are free to play. The likes of Apex Legends, Fortnite and Warzone are all free to play usually. Even if you had to pay to play online games like with Playstation and Switch. The games that are usually free you had to pay for online service on Xbox. Where you had to pay for their Xbox Live to play all the games online.
Xbox have made it possible
Xbox have now officially made all the games free after confirming that they were going to do this back in January. This now makes all the current games that have been free to play on everything else free for Xbox players.
If you only play the free to play games, it may be time to ditch the subscription. However, if you never tried any of the free games due to solely an Xbox gamer and did not want to pay for the subscription there are over 50 different games to try out some better than others.
What should you try out?
There are a wide range of different games available. One of them being the now highly criticised Fortnite which is actually a decent game you should try out. My personal favorite is Apex Legend, a Battle Royale game with a good story and different classes to pick from. There is also DC: Online and Dauntless that are very interesting games that you should try out at least once.
