WWE NXT Results: Kyle O’Reilly Needs To Find His Next Goal, Sets Up Match With Cameron Grimes

The main event of NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver was a brutal un-sanctioned war between Kyle O’Reilly & Adam Cole. This match saw them tear each other and the Capitol Wrestling Center apart, but in the end, Kyle O’Reilly was the winner. Neither man left on their own two feet, and Adam Cole talked trash all the way to the ‘local medical facility’.

However, tonight it’s Kyle O’Reilly who is back in NXT tonight to address the fans. With many questions asked by fans about his future in NXT, we will hopefully get a few answers. Namely fans are wondering, is he actually done with Cole?

Kyle O’Reilly Is Himself Again

O’Reilly would air-guitar his way to the ring, showing that he’s as cocky and limber as ever. Riding high after the biggest win in his WWE NXT career, he’d ask for the microphone. At Takeover, he faced the toughest physical and emotional test of his career. Being away from Adam Cole and being able to be himself again is huge for O’Reilly. He can finally be himself again, which is all he needs to be a star.

His work and ability speak for themselves, and it’s time for him to take the next step in his career. He learned something at Takeover, that you need a killer instinct to be successful. At Takeover, he found that when he wrapped that chain around his knee and put Cole down. Now, it’s time to find his next goal. Does he go for the workhorse title, the NXT North American Championship? Nope. He wants to go for the biggest challenge in NXT.

Here Comes Cameron Grimes

However, before he could properly call out Karrion Kross, he’d end up being met by Cameron Grimes. Grimes made some money betting on O’Reilly at Takeover, and he knows that he make more money off him. They can go to the moon together, and O’Reilly loves the idea.

Grimes is killing it with the stonks, and O’Reilly is killing it by being cleared to compete again. His first opponent is actually Cameron Grimes, and will clash with him later tonight. He punched out his new ‘business associate’, ending that deal as fast as it started. Can O’Reilly win this big coming match tonight on NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
