‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here, and it looks like we’re finally getting some more interesting storylines.
In fact, we’re stoked to see what comes out of them as they’re going to play into each other going forward.
What’s going to make this interesting is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will continue his redemption angle and it could cost Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) more than he imagined.
The thing is, it’s all Victor’s fault.
‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, May 11: Victor’s dangerous plan
Victor has shown he’s willing to cross any line if it means getting his way and keeping his immediate family safe.
It’s commendable in many ways, but lately he’s been beyond deplorable in his actions to defend what’s his.
He’s made a lifelong habit of playing his children against each other to prove themselves and earn his respect, but now he’s threatening other families and their children to get his way.
After calling Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) to confess her crimes to, he’s setting in motion something that could destroy the family he’s worked so hard to protect.
He not only cut off Chelsea from her son but threatened Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)’s if Chelsea doesn’t confess.
Will Chelsea do so? We think she will, and we also think she’ll tell Rey what Victor wants for her to do so. With any luck, she recorded the conversation.
Even if she didn’t, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Adam will figure it out and it’ll reignite his war with Victor.
A curious twist to this is Adam may not go it alone as his brother and sister could stand with him.
Maybe Victor’s methods worked for the better of the family after all?
‘The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, May 11: The wait
While Victor’s playing legal god, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be praying to a different one for Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster)’s recovery.
They’ll be waiting for news about Faith’s health during and following her transplant surgery, and we expect them to be extremely worried as any parent would be.
This will be a touching segment as they’ll talk about Faith and maybe have a brief flashback sequence to go along with the scene before they find out she made it and the surgery is a success.
After everything they’ve put Faith through the last year, it’d be cruel to give her another problem so soon after this. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but we hope this is the end of her suffering.
