‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here, and we’re set for another fun trip through Genoa City with some spoilery goodies.
Looks like we’re shifting into neutral again so we can coast for a day or so before something fun happens. Until then, we get to see some apologies going around.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 20: Chelsea seeks forgiveness
With her previous plan thwarted, we think Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will begin to set her next coup attempt in motion and it’ll come in the form of an apology.
Of course, this is assuming our guess that she’ll apologize to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) once again, and she’ll also share why she did it. Again.
Rey will think she’s still suffering but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’ll throw out something more about being worried about what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do to her son.
Or something along those lines, at least, and it’ll give Rey something to think about and it could nag at him enough that he’ll want to check it out in more detail for himself.
There’s also the possibility that she’ll apologize to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for pulling her into her mess and tell her that Victor threatened her family as well.
Though we have to admit we doubt anyone will remember Victor said that for whatever reason. We’ll have to wait to find out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 20: Victor wants his sons to get along
While still on his victory tour, Victor will pause long enough to encourage Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to bury the hatchet, and not in each other’s heads.
The fact they were already working toward a peace before Victor became involved will help the process, and we’re sure he’ll still take full credit for it and he’ll smile and bask in the greatness that isn’t his.
We’ve been saying for a while that we expect the Newman children to come together to oust Victor once his threats to Chelsea and Chloe become known and this could be the start of it.
If there’s one constant in soap operas is that as soon as things look up a train is coming down the tracks.
So, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect things to blow up in the Newman family before too long.
Maybe Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will talk Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) into rescinding his deal after Victor’s coercion and that starts things rolling.
Whatever causes it, we can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
