Tony Ferguson despite losing in his matchup was definitely a massive winner in the monetary aspect, taking home $750,000 from his fight. A $500,000 guaranteed purse coupled with $32,000 in sponsorship bonus and also his PPV bonus, took his total for the night to $750,000.
Beneil Dariush who won his matchup, won $321,000 as well; a $200,000 guaranteed purse, a $100,000 winning bonus and a $21,000 sponsorship bonus.
Other fighters at UFC 262 that took home significant amounts include; Edson Barboza who won his fight against Shane Burgos and pocketed $346,100, Katlyn Chookagain who won $221,000, Shane Burgos who lost, but went home with $166,000. From the preliminary card fights, we have; Lando Vannata who won and took $131,000 home and Ronaldo Souza who earned $86,000 from his fight.
Christos Giagos’ earning stood out among the fighters who fought in the early preliminary fights, pocketing a whopping $131,500 from a fight he won.
