‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close out the week with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to have a fun one ahead of us even if it’s another filler episode. We’re going to see some sage advice passed on and probably ignored once more, and an update on a missing character.
Okay, so Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) isn’t missing, but it feels like it since Chance was sent on a top secret mission when the actor was let go, but could we be seeing him return or a recast soon?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, June 18: Jack offers more advice
After all the times his words have been ignored, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers wonder why Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tries to pass on his sage wisdom to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Kyle has shown a habit of taking any advice he’s given and doing the opposite because he thinks it’ll work better since he’s doing it and then he’ll need everyone’s help to clean up his mess.
In this case, we think Jack will tell him to make sure he focuses on Summer Newman (Hunter King) and is son instead of his previous fling and his son.
This would go a long way to allaying much of Summer’s concern, but Kyle knows better, meaning he knows squat, so he’ll do what he thinks is best and then daddy will have to clean it up for him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, June 18: Chance update
It looks like we’re going to have some Chance news two days in a row, which makes up think they’re trying to boost the feels for when/if they kill him off.
Considering Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) had a recent scare recently, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will have another message or news from Chance that he’ll be fine.
In fact, we think he’ll say the mission is complete and he’ll be heading back soon. This way they can kill his character off in transit like “MASH”’s Colonel Henry Blake to really destroy Abby.
Given how much effort they put into Abby fretting over every thing she possibly could, this feels like the natural next step to torture her and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), who will be right there with her.
Of course, there’s every chance this will be nothing more than a pure feel good moment to string the storyline out some more with Chance being fine and having a new assignment.
