‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for some spoilery goodies that could lead to some interesting segments coming up.
We may see the show shift out of neutral for more than a brief surge given one of the storylines in this episode, and that would be a fun change of pace.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 30: Amanda’s on fire
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been dragged (along with the rest of us) through several regular “surprise” discoveries and now that her mom confessed to murdering her father, she’s had it.

Amanda won’t waste any more time and go right to the heart of the matter and go after Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).
This is going to be a fun confrontation as Amanda unloads everything on him, and he’s either going to be cowed of fight back.
We expect the latter, though having his daughter sacrifice herself for him could break him.
Either way, we expect him to try to get her to understand why he did what he did and give her some kind of evidence to prove he didn’t.
She’ll look into it and see he’s telling the truth and leave it at that, or he’ll agree to turn himself in and that’s be the end of the storyline and we’ll go about our business having a couple of dozen building scenes wash out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 30: Jack restrains Billy
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be on the hunt for some information to validate Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s illness through Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t going to like that, so he’ll step in and reign Billy in before he alienates the entire family.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think this could lead to another argument between the brothers as Jack won’t understand why Billy wants to keep reopening wounds and how he never learns.
Billy probably won’t say it, but when you have a couple of families constantly embroiled in drama they’re always newsworthy.
This should be a pretty fun back and forth while Tara stands off to the side looking nervous.
In a strange twist, we wonder if Billy will realize if he digs in he could be protecting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) like he promised he would?
That’s a twist that’d be pretty cool, but will they go that route?
