The show with Reigns in his dressing room and not looking happy as Paul Heyman leaned in and told him that the Mysterios are acknowledging their Tribal Chief.
Jimmy came in and Reigns asked him where Jey was and Jimmy said he’s a no show. Jimmy finally got ahold of him and Jey told him he’s not coming back.
Reigns shook his head in confusion after everything he did for Jey and he didn’t show up for work.
Jimmy said he’s there and has his back.
When Reigns asked him if he’s going to be his right hand man, Jimmy said he’s not trying to be Jey but he can do what his brother does.
And Reigns told him to prove it and Jimmy headed out.
Belair’s proud
In the ring, Bianca Belair ran down the timetable for MITB and returning to having live crowds. She added she also gets to whoop on Bayley again, but she hasn’t been able to stop celebrating.
She’s proud of her win and can’t stop polishing her title after her win at HIAC.
She declared the witch is dead, and Seth Rollins’ music started and he came out.
Our broadcast was interrupted as we’re in South Florida and an update on the collapsed condominium interrupted the broadcast.
Returned to action
We returned from our extended news break, and Jimmy asked Heyman what does Reigns mean by prove it.
Heyman told him their family need Reigns to have a right hand man, and if Jey doesn’t want the spot, the Main Event Jimmy Uso is the man and told him to win a match tonight.
Heyman left it ominous when he mentioned if he doesn’t win.

Shinsuke Nakamura coronation ceremony
Rick Boogs introduced Nakamura and played his entrance theme for the ceremony to start.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton asked Baron Corbin about losing his crown, and he said he lost his crown and more, then walked away.
Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce were mimicking playing a guitar to Nakamura’s theme when Rollins came in and said he can do something for them.
He offered himself to be Reigns’ next challenger when he gives his State of the Universal Championship Address.
He said he’s never been more prepared for the challenge in his life, and no one deserves the opportunity more than him.
Pearce agreed with him but they’re not ready for a decision and Deville said they’ll think about it.
And just like that, the coronation is over. WWE Smackdown Results feels a little cheated that they used this as an excuse to go backstage for most of it.
