‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some more character building in Genoa City.
It looks like the espionage angles are going to continue for a while, but a couple of the storylines could have interesting twists coming up.

With Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) feeling off, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will try to cheer him up and win him over by sharing some old photos and stories from their time together and of their son growing up.
It’ll be the perfect thing to help pull Kyle out of his funk, and it’ll definitely give her a leg up on securing her future position at his side.
Of course, there’s always a chance that he’ll go back in his funk, but it’ll be a big first step for Tara and it’ll help her plan to keep him at her side going forward.

This segment could mean several things, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are going to have dinner while talking with a source about Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi).
It makes sense that they’d find someone after all of their digging to find out whether the news about Ashland is true or not, and it’ll give them a leg up on their competition.
It does raise the question as to who the leak could be and how reliable they are, but Lily wouldn’t let Billy write anything that wasn’t factual and 100% backed up.
If this is the plan, it could be a pretty cool twist if they decide to run with it.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has a lot to think about after talking with her parents, and we think she’s going to want to talk with Ashland to ensure he knows what her dad may be planning.
It’ll be her way of ensuring what they’ve agreed on is legitimate, and that leads to the possibility that Ashland’s faking.
Just because he said he’s sick and something leaked isn’t a guarantee since he could’ve been behind both.
This could be his way to take over Newman Enterprises, which would prove Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was right and would be a pretty interesting way to make him the hero once again.
