‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and were set to get things moving with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re in for a character building episode with a couple of possible plot twists that could make things interesting down the road.

Summer Newman (Hunter King) has been working to begin her new life, and she’s had a couple of visitors pop in to help her get settled and to remind her she has somewhere she can go if this doesn’t work out.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers understand the mentality behind all of these visits, but it also feels like they’re trying to make it especially hard for Summer to sever ties.
Or to remind us she’s not gone yet.
But ignoring those possible reasonings, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are going to arrive and while it has the potential to be an emotional scene, we think it’ll be different.
We expect Victor to be the comforting voice that’ll help soothe Summer’s fears about her new beginning and he’ll promise her she always has a home to go to if things get too rough.
She’ll appreciate it, but she may not feel the same when Nikki asks some questions as she tries to ferret out the reason for Summer’s decision.
Nikki’s good enough that they won’t be invasive or anything like that, but they could push Summer more than intended.
Maybe it’ll be worthwhile if Summer admits something for Victor to work with?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 26: Kyle steps in it again
Now that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has someone to go after, he’s going to focus all of his frustration and anger on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
He’s going to feel like she’s trying to remove Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) from his life in some form of retaliation, and Phyllis has had a rough day and he may get away with it.
To a point.
Sure, Phyllis will be caught off guard, but she’ll quickly compose herself and give it right back to him.
Kyle will show his penchant for not thinking anything through and resist what she tells him, but maybe a kernel of truth will sink into his thick head and kick his brain into action for once.
