‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to kick off a new week with some spoilery goodies.
This one’s going to be an interesting one as we’ll get to see a repeated storyline continue and an interesting twist as the wayward son returns home.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 5: Phyllis is Phyllis
There’s something about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) where she simply does not hear when someone tells her to stay out of something.

It’s gotten her into tons of trouble in the past and we don’t think it’ll be any different this time as she ignores Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s request (Again) and interferes in his affairs (Again).
We’re sensing a trend here, and for the trifecta we’re going to go with this will involve Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) (Again).
We’d like to think this will set Sally off and we’ll finally get the war between Phyllis and Sally many of us have been wanting since Sally arrived in Genoa City.
Unfortunately, we expect to have to wait until Phyllis crosses the line again, Instead, she may bring Jack’s wrath down on her for repeatedly ignoring him.
He won’t be too hard on her, but it could validate Sally’s standing and that’ll hurt Phyllis more than anything.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, July 5: Adam makes a move
With so much going on, we expect Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to take a less aggressive approach than we’re led to believe as he’ll move to the ranch.
It’s definitely anti-climactic, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect it to lead to some interesting encounters over the next few weeks before Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have their falling out.
In fact, by moving to the ranch like Victor suggested, Adam could placate the Moustache enough that he won’t push to go after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for a while.
It’s only a matter of time before it does happen, and then we’re pretty sure the Newmans that were on the fence will turn on Adam.
Well, it’d be Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) mainly, but Adam will have to prove what’s happening to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
We doubt it’ll be hard considering Nick’s own falling out with the old man when he broke away, but it’ll still be an interesting exchange if the writers go that route.
Will Phyllis push Jack or Sally too far? Let us know in the comments below and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
