Loki Episode 3 felt very anticlimactic, after the end of episode 2 teased something huge coming in the following episode. These events still haven’t passed with it now being in episode 4 and it seems like everything is normal after those events and we have moved on very quickly.
That aside though, Loki episode 4 is a great step into the story of the Loki series. It did feel like Episode 3 was a kind of filler episode that wasn’t needed in a six episode series. However, episode 4 continues the story what we want.
It’s definitely a step into the right direction.
There is a lot to take in from episode 4 as well as a lot of questions. There is, however, no doubt that it’s better than the previous episode. The introduction of new elements and the involvement of each character.
There are some drawbacks but there is no doubt that this was a lot more enjoyable. The return of the full cast of characters does help a lot. An episode without such a small series felt like a bad idea.
Summary
Loki episode 4 does really show that the series could be something a lot more than it is. This would be fine, if we had maybe more episodes but the fact is, we only have six episodes as a whole. It is starting to look like we are going to have an anticlimactic ending again. Also, make sure you stay to the end credits for this one.
