Nothing like Salem when there’s a festive atmosphere in the air. It brings out all the mayhem and chaos the town saves for these occasions.
This could be one of those keeper episodes and we’re grabbing a tub or two of popcorn just in case.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, July 16: Planning a party
Since his return, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) has been a whirlwind and taken Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) for a fun ride that’s going to include an anniversary party.

This, of course, spells disaster for the even just because Salem doesn’t like happy events. It’s like the town is allergic to them or something. It also helps that its denizens make bad decisions.
Speaking of bad decisions, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is one of the first to potentially create some mayhem by inviting Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to go with him.
Never mind she’s dating Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and anniversary parties tend to be serious events on par with weddings and not something a casual date is brought to.
What could go wrong?

We can’t deny that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) isn’t tenacious, and she’s going to demonstrate why for the millionth time when she goes to the Salem PD to see Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
NBC “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers think Xander’s going to be shocked, but since he’s handcuffed to the table or chair, Sami will have an ample chance to convince him to accept.
We think she’ll even throw in bailing him out and getting him a good attorney on top of the cash.
Given the circumstances and Xander’s bad decision making lately, we’re curious to see what he’ll do to dig himself in a little deeper.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, July 16: Brotherly cooperation
Since bringing Philip up to speed, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) has been trying to play it safe with the letter he has, which means it’ll come into play at some point.
He may not want to use it, but Philp will as it’ll rock EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)’s world and could give Titan the advantage.
Whatever’s going to happen, both brothers are going to have a hand in it as they plot to destroy Sami and EJ’s marriage.
