WWE Smackdown Results returned to find Edge and the Mysterios backstage as Kayla Braxton came up to him to ask about being one step closer to winning on Sunday.
He said he’ll have to dip into dark places he doesn’t want to so he can win, btu he’ll do that.
Seth Rollins’ laughter interrupted him, and Rollins told Edge he can’t beat Reigns. He added that Reigns has Edge’s number, and that he’ll be Edge’s biggest fan at MITB and hope he wins.
He’ll do his job and win MITB and finish what he started 7 years ago when he had his boot on Edge’s neck and didn’t pull the trigger. He’d love to cash in on the man that made the match famous.

Sami Zayn came out but told everyone to stop his music and went on his typical tirade about how no one’s talking about him being excluded.
He said it’s fine because tonight he has the fans in his corner because we’ve seen him victimized.
When fans didn’t chant “Justice for Sami” he insulted the fans and said he doesn’t need them, he needs justice.
If there was justice he’d be handed the MITB contract on a silver platter and decided to hold the show hostage.
Finn Balor came out to good cheers and Zayn was in shock. It’s great to have the Prince back.
Zayn tried to make nice with Balor by welcoming him back and went for an attack, but Balor dropped him with a reverse DDT and dropkick, followed by a double stomp off the top rope.
Poor Zayn.
Natalya and Tamina (c) vs. Shotzi and Nox
This should be an interesting match, though WWE Smackdown Results are sure something’s going to go sideways as Zelina Vega and Liv Morgan are with the commentary team.
Tamina started it off pounding on Shotzi and knocked Nox off the apron. Natalya tagged in and went to work on Shotzi.

Shotzi rolled up Natalya, then took her down and hit a double leg drop for a pin attempt.
Vega and Morgan were dominating with their back and forth while the match continued.
Natalya ran into a boot by Shotzi and crawled to Nox, and Nox dropped Natalya and knocked Tamina off the apron, and hit a cannonball on Natalya and then a Shining Wizard but Tamina broke up the pin.
Morgan and Vega went at it on the floor while Natalya went for a sharpshooter and Nox took advantage of the distraction for a roll up win.
Tamina leveled Morgan and Vega, and Natalya and Tamina took out Vega but Morgan sidestepped Tamina’s charge and took down Natalya in the ring and stood under the MITB briefcase.
This had the chance to be a good match, but as usual the wrestlers at ringside stole the show. WWE Smackdown Results really wouldn’t mind if they stopped having people with the announcers every week.
