WWE Smackdown Results returned as Reginald readied to defend his 24/7 Championship against an unknown opponent.
And his opponent was… Otis with Chad Gable.
24/7 Championship – Reginald (c) vs. Otis w/Chad Gable
Otis told Reginald it’s not him, and then he nailed Reggie and Gable went to work and hit a northern lights suplex for a pin attempt.

Reggie avoided a series of chops, but Gable dropped him on his face and then hit another suplex for a near pinfall.
Gable went for a German suplex off the top rope, but Reggie rolled through and hit a sitton, but Otis grabbed him and threw him over the top rope, but Reggie landed on his feet and rolled through.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and she told him it’s official that Carmella and Vega will face Belair and Banks in the night’s main event.

They then headed to the ring for Roman Reigns and Finn Balor’s contract signing. Balor and then Reigns came to the ring.
Heyman moved Reigns’ chair to the head of the table and he took his seat and then Balor took his.
The fans chanted Cena and Reigns pointed out they already hear from Mr. Missionary. He then told Balor that Cena thinks Balor’s lesser than him, but he doesn’t think it.
He thinks Balor’s worthy to challenge him, and he’s also worthy to catch his beatdown at SummerSlam.
Reigns then told him that if he signs the contract, he’ll smash him and send him back to NXT and Heyman dropped the mic for him.
Reigns signed, and Balor said it’ll be his privilege to return to NXT and Universal Champion, but as he started to sign Corbin jumped him and threw him into the time keeper’s area and Corbin tried to sign the contract himself.
Cena came out and threw Corbin into the ring post and then picked up the contract and signed it.
This was possibly the dumbest way Cena could’ve gotten a match and we’re curious if it’ll stand up.
Backstage, Heyman approached Pearce and Deville, and they told him it’s official. They refused to see it Heyman’s way.
Cesaro, Big E, and King Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, and Apollo Crews w/ Commander Azeez
Big E and Crews started it off and Big E hit a belly to belly, then ran into a knee by Crews and was dumped outside the ring where Roode and Ziggler hit a Zigzag Spinebuster as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial and Big E’s in the ring and tagged in Cesaro and Cesaro nailed Ziggler with an uppercut for a pin attempt.
Cesaro hit a swing and then locked in a sharpshooter on Ziggler, and Roode pulled Ziggler to the roeps to break the hold.
Nakamura hit a knee on Ziggler while Cesaro held him for a pin attempt.

Ziggler counter a kinsasha with a slingblade to buy some time.
Crews tagged in and he hit a standing moonsault for a pin attempt that Cesaro broke up.
Roode hit Cesaro with a spinebuster, Big E hit Roode with a Big Ending, Ziggler hit Big E with a Famouser, then Nakamura hit a spinning heel kick on Ziggler.
Nakamura then ate a step up kick and German suplex from Crews for a pin attempt.
Crews headed to the top rope but Boogs distracted him with a guitar solo, so Azeez grabbed him and threw Boogs to the side to silence him.
Cesaro hit Azeez with a uppercut and Ziggler caught Cesaro with a super kick.
In the ring, Nakamura hit a kinsasha on Crews for the win. WWE Smackdown Results are still wondering if Big E will cash in on Crews at some point. What do you think?
