    WWE Smackdown Results (7/30) – John Cena Insults Roman Reigns and Drops Baron Corbin with an Attitude Adjustment; Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio Defeated Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso by Pinfall; Sasha Banks Returns to Save Bianca Belair from Carmella and Zelina Vega

    Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!

    Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one with Finn Balor now drawing Roman Reigns’ attention, plus Sasha Banks’ rumored return to challenge Bianca Belair for SummerSlam.

    Let’s get to the action!

    John Cena started the show off again and ran to the ring after insulting Paul Heyman’s remix last week.

    He recounted how Reigns and Balor will sign a contract for their match at SummerSlam and he said Reigns sucks.

    Cena then complained because Reigns said he’s stale and said it’s stupid. He compared it to Steve Austin coming back as Sasquatch Steve Houston and then the Rock returning as Dwayne “Too Small” Johnson.

    Would this be a good time to point out the crowd was lackluster at this point and most didn’t appear to be moving at ringside until he gave a rah rah speech.

    He added Reigns has to change every two years because fans don’t believe in him and he expects Cena to change, too. He then called Reigns a stooge called Joe.

    Cena claimed Reigns rejected him because of how he’d make him look, and Baron Corbin came out.

    The fans chanted “You suck” to Corbin, and Cena said he didn’t know who he was, and then he recognized him.

    Corbin listed his problems and Cena mocked him, and Corbin said he can’t perform and his wife and kids left him.

    Corbin asked for help and Cena left it up to the fans and they gave a definitive no. A cheap plug for Suicide Squad followed.

    Corbin called Cena a selfish, self-absorbed tightwad and a Hollywood sellout.

    Cena said it’s a teaching moment and hit an Attitude Adjustment.

    Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio vs. Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso

    The match started with Jimmy hitting a shoulder block off the ropes, and then Rey ate a kick to the midsection but Rey hit a leg scissors, then hit a bulldog off the top rope.

    Jimmy picked him up and drove him into a turnbuckle for a pin attempt.

    Rey pulled the ropes down to send Jimmy to the apron, then dropkicked him to the floor. Jimmy ducked his slide and hit a superkick as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Jimmy hitting a sunset flip Rey rolled through and Rey hit a kick to buy some time.

    Rey was flipped to the apron and Jimmy hit a step up kick and pulled him to the top rope but Rey blocked a superplex attempt and hit a senton and slingshot crossbody for a pin attempt.

    Rey tripped Jimmy into the ropes and went for a 619 but Jey pulled Jimmy out to the floor, and Rey hit a crossbody on them from over the ropes.

    He hit a 619 on Jey on one side, but Jimmy caught him at the other and went for a Samoan Drop, but Rey managed to roll him up for the win.

    Sasha Banks returns

    Kayla Braxton interviewed Bianca Belair in the ring about her defending against Carmella last week and surpassed 100 days as Smackdown Women’s Champion.

    She then asked how she sees the next 100 days play out.

    Belair said she doesn’t know how she’s going to top it, but she’s grateful for everything. Carmella then came out and mockingly congratulated her and said she should give her another title match.

    Zelina Vega came out and called a Carmella a loser and said the WWE Universe wants to see Belair against her and no one is more deserving than her.

    Carmella attacked Belair from behind, then held her for Vega to hit a knee and they both pounded away on her.

    Sasha Banks returned and ran out and cleared the ring after taking Carmella and Vega on, then pulled Belair up and hugged her to Belair’s surprise.

    WWE Smackdown Results have been waiting for Banks to return, and it’s curious that she’s a face. Could this be a plot of hers? Let us know below in the comments.
