‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick the week off with some fun spoilery goodies.
By the looks of things, we’re heading into another slow burner episode as the ground work will continue to be laid for current and future storylines.
Basically, we’re going to see relationships tested and pulled apart once again. Nothing like a stroll through Genoa City, is there?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 23: Settling business

The last time Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were together Victor not so subtlety accused Ashland of faking his illness.
This is something ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have mentioned before, and since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) rarely, if ever, been with Ashland when he sees the doctor it could be a sign.
Another is that Victor is never wrong in these things. He’s written to be as perfect about everything as possible, so if there’s smoke, there’s fire.
So, we think Victor will play nice and officially apologize for what he said. He’ll be helped along as Ashland will have copies of his medical history as he promised.
But since those can be faked, we doubt Victor will take him at his word.
This should be a pretty fun back and forth between them that won’t lead to many answers but give us a chance to see Victor in action again.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 23: Victoria’s frustrated
With everything going on and everyone questioning her and Ashland, Victoria will be slightly on edge when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) manages to strike a nerve with her.
Much like with Victor, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect this will be about her marry Ashland and if she really knows what she’s in for.
The funny thing is, this will probably start innocent enough as Nikki will want to talk with her about what she wants so they can get some more of the details out of the way.
Talk will probably turn to Victor’s thoughts on it and how he wants her to have a wedding to remember, but Victoria won’t believe he’s sincere.
And when Nikki agrees and says he’s doing more checking or that he’s rarely wrong about these things Victoria will successfully have all of her buttons pushed.
Things could get interesting here, and we’re curious how Victoria will react when/if Victor’s proven right again and she needs him to keep cleaning up after her.
We hope this isn’t the way they’re going, but it seems like the obvious angle at this point.
