‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get rolling with some spoilery goodies.
With the major crisis averted for the time being, we’re going to jump back into some storylines that were sidetracked for a couple of days.
Of course, there’s still plenty of antagonistic attitudes to go around, so it’s going to feel like we never left.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 31: Victor questions Billy
Genoa City isn’t itself unless Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is finding some way to torment someone he doesn’t like, and he’s going after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) again.
Victor’s issue this time is he won’t trust Billy’s end game reasons for investigating Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi).
In short, he’s going to accuse Billy of doing it to get back together with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) or trying to make himself look like the hero and yadda, yadda, yadda.
Billy will fire back and hold his own, saying he’s looking out for Victoria, which is something Victor should appreciate but he’s too blinded by his hate to do so.
This will be their typical back and forth, and Victor will only find more ways to dislike Billy instead of listening to him and he’ll look for the next thing to pick at Billy about.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 31: Elena’s new groove
With the clinic to herself, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have her eyes set on another position.
With her schedule conflicting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s so much, we think a spot in the hospital will somehow open up and she’ll take that to work alongside him.
It’s how things tend to work out as positions magically open from time to time. Or she may decide to go into private practice. There, she could make her own hours to a point and not have such a crazy schedule.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Lily and Victoria have a standoff
Just when things couldn’t get any more tense for Victoria, she and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will run into a standoff we’re sure will involve Billy’s investigation.
We’re guessing Victoria will get wind of it and try to convince Billy to stop, and when she finds Lily instead she’ll ask her.
Lily won’t back down and the two will have another fun round of barbs and jabs before one of them leaves or Billy walks in and disrupts the flow between them.
By the end of this, someone’s going to be awfully appreciative of someone. We just have to wait and see who is to who and for what.
