‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 18: Johnny returns
With everything going on in the DiMera mansion lately, it’s not surprising that no one noticed the tunnels being in use until EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) saw it open out of the corner of his eye.
And this is where ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers thinks Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will officially return when he surprises his father.
EJ may not be in the best of moods, but seeing his son could help with that. Of course, he’s going to want to know why Johnny was using the tunnel system.
This is where things could get interesting in a hurry as Johnny will try to deflect from answering or give some answer that seems like it’s legitimate.
What’s got us thinking is since he’s using the tunnels, what are the chances that he’s the one that abducted Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and has her stashed away in the tunnels.
We thought only EJ had the opportunity to plan something for Sami, but Johnny could’ve been watching and acted on his own.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 18: Keeping the promise
Since arriving in Salem and at Paulina Price (Jackée Harry)’s door, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) has made it a point to emphasize to her daughter the importance of keeping her promises.
Of course, Paulina already broke her promise by getting involved in Lani Price (Sal Stowers)’s life numerous times, so what will one more matter?
Olivia’s not going to stand by and let Paulina spill the beans despite happily accepting Lani’s stipulation for forgiving Paulina.
At this point, we’re going on the theory that one promise cancels out another, and we think Paulina will tell Lani the truth since she doesn’t want to lie to her anymore anyway.
The problem here isn’t just Olivia, but it’ll shatter Lani and Abe Carver (James Reynolds)’s worlds when they find out they’re not really father and daughter, never mind how it’ll affect Lani’s relationship with her mom.
But we don’t think Paulina will want to usurp or disrupt Lani’s relationships. She just wants to be a mother.
There is a chance Lani will take it out on Paulina and accuse her of trying to make it about her, to which Olivia may defend Paulina.
Then, Lani wouldn’t be happy with her mom and Olivia, and that’ll present a whole list of problems.
This is going to be a fun and interesting storyline going forward. Do you think Paulina will tell Lani everything, and how will Lani react?
