It’s amazing how a company can either do everything right or nothing at all, and lately the WWE has been trending in the nothing at all portion and television networks and fans are still unhappy over Bray Wyatt being released.
As we mentioned a few times before, Wyatt was the most over superstar they had as fans buried anyone that got the upper hand on The Fiend in boos and his merchandise was reportedly among the highest in demand.
Fans continue to voice their displeasure on Raw as this week their chants of “We want Wyatt!” during Alexa Bliss’ match against Doudrop was audible.
It’s not her fault and we’re not a fan of anyone taking their frustration out on her, but she’s also the easiest target since her current gimmick is a version of the Fiend.

There have been rumors circulating online that there are those in the WWE office that want to resign Wyatt, at a cheaper rate, similar to Braun Strowman, but we’re taking those as rumors until proven otherwise.
But it’s more than just the fans that are unhappy with recent developments.
Networks are displeased
It’s one thing to piss off a fan base, especially since the WWE hasn’t listened to the fans in years, but to upset the networks that are pumping a majority of the money into the company is another matter.
But that’s what current reports say is happening since Wyatt’s release.
To be fair, the networks haven’t been happy with the horrible storytelling the WWE has put forward for the last year, and that doesn’t appear to be a priority as they rely on returning Legends to draw people in.
Guess they never heard of movies being flops despite an all star cast? Anyway, there have been reports that USA and FOX aren’t happy with the releases, but especially USA when it comes to Bray Wyatt.
Fox may have had hopes of Wyatt being traded to Smackdown, which would explain their displeasure on this matter.
Change is in the air
Wyatt is one of the top performers in the world and his creative genius knows no bounds. In short, someone the WWE badly needs.
Given how the WWE is continuing to release talent, focusing more on NXT now to reshape that into an easier to describe brand, the networks are once again reportedly getting antsy.
All signs point to McMahon selling the WWE with these releases and changes, and he could be burning every bridge possible while working toward that goal is true.
What do you think the WWE has planned, and should they bring Bray Wyatt back? Let us know in the comments below.
