WWE Smackdown Preview is set to jump into tonight’s episode and find out what the fallout from SummerSlam will be, and it could prove interesting.
With Roman Reigns dispatched John Cena, he got the mother of all surprises in Brock Lesnar returning dressed like Dean Ambrose. Talk about a shock factor!
Reigns sold it really well and even looked scared as the Beast Incarnate entered the ring and stood nose to nose with him.
And it looks like tonight we’re going to get a reaction from Reigns which should rely heavily on Paul Heyman being put on the spot for not telling him about Lesnar returning.
One thing we feel confident about is Lesnar will most likely be lurking around to torment Reigns some, and we’re thinking the Usos will be the ones that’ll suffer for their allegiance to their Tribal Chief.
This should be a fun storyline and we think it’ll come down to which side Heyman will side with. He’s spent years with Lesnar, but could he view Reigns as his money ticket now?
The Man’s back
Becky Lynch’s return at SummerSlam was expected with rumors of Sasha Banks not being able to take part, and that was about the only good thing to come out of her appearance.
After months of building Bianca Belair up to have her squashed in 27 seconds is he worst booking of the year and turned what could’ve been the match of the night into a sham.
And now we’re going to hear Belair blame it on not being ready for her.
What should make this entertaining is Lynch turning heel as she’ll feud with Belair until their rematch that Belair should win to reprove herself.
We should get to see Lynch really rock her heel side like Seth Rollins and Reigns have been doing, so we’ll see how it all works out.
Depending on how long Sasha Banks will be out, we could have a cool three way run for the championship, especially if they play it up that Lynch took Banks out so she could take her spot in the match.
There are a few ways they can spin this, and it’s going to be interesting to see how fast they can rebuild Belair.
We expect plenty of piped in cheers until they figure out how to repair the damage they’ve done.
