Fans have been waiting years for what goes down this Sunday at All Out. CM Punk is finally returning to the ring, and fans will see if the fire still burns inside him. However tonight, in front of his hometown of Chicago, he’s got some more words for the fans – and his upcoming opponent in Darby Allin.
CM Punk Is In The House
Much like his first time on AEW Rampage, CM Punk got a massive ovation from the Chicago crowd. Truly he’s the definition of a hometown hero, being able to simply show up and get every single fan in the arena on their feet. Even after his music stopped, the CM Punk chants didn’t.
He’d ask if they’re sick of him yet, because he could get used to his music hitting and him hitting the ring to a huge ovation. Some people can get sick of this fast, but not Punk. However, this Sunday this could all end for him. He’s not wrestled in seven years, and frankly – he’s a bit scared to find out if he still has it.
Sting Has Something To Say
However, each and every time he laces up his boots? He’ll do his best. Before he could finish his promo, Daniel Garcia & 2.0 would rush the ring and beat Punk down. They claimed they would do anything to disrupt this match from happening, and that doesn’t just get limited to Garcia having a match with Allin this Friday.
Sting & Darby Allin would make the save, and hit a Scorpion Death Drop, Coffin Drop, and a Go To Sleep to put everyone down. Punk & Allin would stare each other down, both men ready to go. Jeff Parker started to move after the GTS, and got thrown out. Sting would take the microphone, and say that while he respects CM Punk, their paths never crossed.
However, he’ll do anything to make sure this match goes off without a hitch – including Sting not being at ringside. Allin will ride alone, and will put on a classic match. Who will win on Sunday? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
