There’s always plenty of speculation in the air when it comes to who’s signing where and who they’ll face and so on, and it looks like Ryback’s back in that mix with rumors of a return to the ring at AEW All Out pay-per-view tonight.
He’s been teasing a return to the competition for a while now but nothing has come of it as he hasn’t appeared on AEW TV.
This doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but he could be misdirecting us in a great troll job for a bigger surprise, it’s wishful thinking to keep his name in the news, or to stick it to the WWE.
Those and many more are possible as his ongoing feud with the WWE and Vince McMahon have been in the news off and on since his release.
Ryback has most recently fought over the trademark of his name, and hasn’t let up on teasing his return to the ring, specifically AEW.

“Hang in there cowboy”
His latest foray into this came in July when he responded to a tweet by Jim Ross where he replied to a post by Mid Atlantic Wrestling that had a video of a Ronnie Garvin match from 1988 against the Italian Stallion.
In his reply, JR said, “Selling….a lost art in pro wrestling…Hands of Stone Ronnie Garvin was spot on here.”

Ryback replied to his comment with, “Hang in there cowboy. Things are going to get better soon.”
He ended his comment with a winking emoticon that’s got fans wondering if this is a cryptic message that he’s going to appear in AEW or him just having some fun.
The third wheel
If he’s going to appear, tonight would be a perfect time as he could potentially help Jericho win against MJF, or even join MJF.
There are plenty of other possibilities as well, but with former WWE talents CM Punk making his in ring return and Daniel Bryan expected to appear, Ryback would give AEW a nice trifecta.
His energy, size, and skill would give AEW another talented big man to continue giving their roster a push into a more mainstream vision of what professional wrestling is.
There’s every possibility this could happen as @LetsGoBackToWCW shared on Twitter and he’s known to be very factual about things, and we’re excited to see if the news ends up being more than just speculation.

This is they type of thing that makes this an awesome time to be a wrestling fan as there’s so many unknowns and surprises to keep us on the edge of our seats.
We get to see old faces return and revitalize their careers while they help put over the younger, hungry talent working for that big opportunity.
What do you think? Will Ryback appear with AEW tonight? Let us know in the comments below.
