It was revealed early in the week what the plans were for Adam Cole in WWE. It sounded like they were fake because the original report suggested that Adam Cole would be moved to the main roster to be a manager. Rather than using both Adam Cole talking and wrestling, just using his talking abilities as a manager. The original report has been expanded on who he would manage and where he would end up.
Details on the Pitch
It has now been revealed that Adam Cole would have been Keith Lee’s manager. Similar to how Lio Rush was Bobby Lashley. The weird choice here, though, is that both Keith Lee and Adam Cole are great in promos and the ring. With Bobby Lashley, it’s a lot better for him to have a manager as he’s not excellent on the promos.
It seems to be a very weird choice, but this is one of the plans for Adam Cole for his debut on WWE. It’s possible there were going to be more pitches. They might not have gone with this one if Adam Cole resigned, but this was one of the worst pitches for both Adam Cole and Kieth Lee.
The reason why Adam Cole left
There is also the possibility that Adam Cole heard these pitches before he left. It’s possible that the plans for his debut on Raw were one of the many reasons for him to leave and go to AEW. Taking away one of the best wrestling in NXT seems to be a terrible decision. It also makes us very worried about what is going to happen to Kieth Lee with him currently still signed with WWE.
