Ever since Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley, it’s been hard to keep them apart. Lashley crashed the match between The Bloodline & New Day, and wore out a steel chair over the back of Big E later in the night. Before the show started properly, they’d brawl it out backstage – and that wasn’t the end. The New Day would clash against AJ Styles, Omos and Lashley tonight. These are three men who are bitter after losing their championships recently, and The New Day will have a big issue on their hands.

Two & A Half Men Team For First Time

Lashley opted to not start the match, so Big E let Xavier Woods start with AJ Styles. There was a big ‘New Day Rocks’ chant, as Woods would slam Styles into the corner. Styles would look for an early Calf Crusher, but Woods would get to the ropes quickly. More of a warning shot than a finish attempt. Kofi Kingston tagged in, launching some kicks on Styles before getting hit with a chop block.

Big E was tagged in, after Styles wanted the champion. He’d get the champion’s arm across his face, a massive lariat before being dumped to the corner for a tag. Lashley tagged in gladly and dropped Big E with a huge blow. Big E fired back, and drove him into the corner of New Day. They’d stomp a mudhole in him with the Unicorn Stampede, with Lashley stepping outside.

Kofi & Woods worked together to take Lashley down again, before Big E & Woods had a war of words with Omos & Styles. Lashley got an opening in the ring, and threw Kofi across the ring. A charging spear into the corner would be followed with a weak armbar, before Omos tagged in. Omos is the biggest man on the roster, and Kofi was no match for him.

Kofi would be lifted up and just thrown face first into the mat. Styles tagged back in, and would control Kofi on the mat while working him down. Some quick thinking from Kofi almost got him a tag, but Lashley took away the tag option before Big E got in. A huge flatliner in the ring got a two count, and Kofi was running on fumes as The Dominator was set up. Kofi landed on his feet, but had no one to tag.

The New Day Are A United Front

He’d survive long enough in control to tag in Woods, who would hit hard and fast. All the power in the world isn’t worth much if you don’t catch your opponent. Woods hit a tornado DDT, before being caught with a powerslam for a two count. Lashley would look for a superplex and was shoved off before he took a missile dropkick. Big E was tagged in, and would club at Omos before slamming Styles in the middle of the ring.

Styles took the big running splash, but would avoid Big Ending, though not the corner Urange. He’d counter the apron spear and hit a Pele Kick, and was really taking the fight to the WWE Champion. However, he’d miss a tag to Kofi and take a super mushroom stomp, only for Lashley to make the save. Lashley in again, and Kofi would barely kick out and had enough to jump over a spear as well.

Big E would launch Kofi into a right hand from Omos, before Woods took a forearm. Lashley would hit the flatliner on Big E and wanted the spear, but Styles tagged himself in before Lashley tagged himself back in. He’d hit Styles instead before taking Big Ending for the finish.

Should Big E be taking six man tag team matches as WWE Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
