Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and this should be a fun night as we get some more matches settled for Extreme Rules and Roman Reigns will react to The Demon returning and we could see a tag team title rematch.
We’ll be back to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling at the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Roman Reigns started it off and Paul Heyman explained he’s not afraid of man, beast, or demon and listed why.
New WWE Champion Big E came out to interrupt them, and then Finn Balor joined them as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
The Usos vs. Big E and Finn Balor
This started off with a good back and forth but the Usos took control and Jimmy hit Balor with a dive through the ropes and into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a fun match that Big E won with a Big Ending on Jimmy while Balor hit a double stomp on Jey.
Segment 4
Rick Boogs w/King Nakamura vs. Robert Roode w/Dolph Ziggler
This was a quick squash match that Boogs won with a pump handle slam, and he and Nakamura were attacked by Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez while they celebrated.
Segment 5
Happy Corbin attacked Kevin Owens as he headed to the ring for their match, then dusted off his hat and headed back up the ramp.
Segment 6
Rollins compared stomping Edge to stepping on a cockroach, then said the fans are responsible for what happened and how he can’t live with himself for feeling sorry for Edge, but he can’t until he’s finished with Edge.
Guess we can expect this match at Survivor Series.
Segment 7
Liv Morgan and Toni Storm vs. Carmella and Zelina Vega
This was a short one as Carmella took the count out loss, crying that Morgan broke her nose after kicking her into the turnbuckle. Morgan then challenged her to a match at Extreme Rules.
Segment 8
Dominik Mysterio vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn took control early after suckering Dominik in, but Dominik fought back and hit a crossbody off the top rope as we headed to commercial,
Segment 9
Zayn won after getting his knees up to counter Domink’s splash. That’s three in a row. Can we move on from them now?
Segment 10
Bianca Belair’s homecoming
This was a touching moment as Glen Jacobs (Kane) introduced Bianca Belair and gave her the Key to the County.
Becky Lynch came out and mocked her a little, but told Belair this was her night and she wanted to show her respect and offered her hand.
Belair refused to let go to provoke her and went for a KOD, but Lynch slipped free and hit a Man Handle Slam and then left the ring.
Oddly enough, Lynch was more honorable than the face. Odd twist.
