WWE Smackdown Preview is set for Smackdown’s Go Home episode for Extreme Rules and it should be a pretty interesting show.
While last week was a let down from Super Smackdown, that was expected and this one should be better as it’s leading into a pay-per-view.
With a couple of matches listed as well as a new segment, the action should be at its best.
Intercontinental Championship – King Nakamura (c) w/Rick Boogs vs. Apollo Crews w/ Commander Azeez
After not being on WWE TV much for a few weeks, Apollo Crews returned with a vengeance last week when he and Azeez attacked Nakamura and Boogs while they celebrated.
And this will lead to an Intercontinental Championship rematch between the pair and we can’t help but feel we’ve seen this one before.
Or it could just be the trauma from Crews’ never ending feud with Big E. Either way, we’re confident they’ll give us a great match and keep us entertained.
We’d love to see Nakamura hold onto the title, but we have a feeling Crews will pull out the win and start a feud with Boogs while doing so.
Liv Morgan vs. Carmella
After proving herself time and time again, Live Morgan took out Carmella ad Vega last week, and this week she’ll face Vega to get to her match against Carmella at Extreme Rules.
This has so much potential and we hope it gets to go a solid ten minutes. The women’s division has delivered when given the chance and not have their time cut back so hopefully they’ll be able to shine.
There’s little doubt for WWE Smackdown Preview that Carmella will make her presence known and try to interfere, but we think Morgan will fight her off and get a win over Vega.
Happy Talk with Happy Corbin
The world premiere of Happy Talk with Happy Corbin premieres tonight, and it should be a fun one.
Corbin’s the type of heel that just has to show up to piss fans off, so him having his own segment seems like a slam dunk.
Of course, that’ll depend on the writing but we’re looking forward to his first guest, which we assume will be Kevin Owens.
Or Owens will crash the set and trigger a brawl. Either way, it’s going to be fun and we’re looking forward to it.
