Colt’s fans were saddened by his most recent Instagram post where he shared the devastating news of his wife’s miscarriage. He posted a few pictures then captioned them, “Vanessa and I have experienced a loss we’d like to share. We recently discovered she was pregnant. This came about by surprise and really changed our perspective on life and our future.

The pictures that Colt posted were one of the pregnancy test that Vanessa took at her doctor’s office on September 2. The results were positive and it sounds as if the couple was really looking forward to starting their new life as parents.
There were plenty of comments to the young couple about how sorry their fans were for this loss. One of the most touching comments came from Colt’s mother, Debbie Johnson. She wrote to them, “My heart not only breaks but also aches for what Vanessa and Colt are going through. It is so very sad that things like this happen. One minute you are on top of the world with joy.
Then the next you can’t believe how much it hurts. My love goes to my family. I love you both Colt & Vanessa.” There were plenty of fans who also shared their stories of losing a child and really hoped to give Colt and Vanessa some hope that they can still try to have children.
Vanessa hasn’t made a statement yet about the miscarriage, but it does seem that she is taking a break from social media. She has only three posts on her Instagram account, so it looks as if Colt is the one who is telling all of their fans about it.
