AEW had its first major hurdle this Friday, and they seemed to try their hardest to make it worth it. With AEW going head to head with Smackdown for its first time. However, all the build in the world doesn’t seem to help the viewership for Rampage.
The early viewership has now been revealed for both shows. The viewership is still the early ones, and both shows will mostly have more viewership in the confirmation of the Demo. It’s still possible that Rampage could win the Demo, but it’s not looking likely.

Fast National for last night
Smackdown on FS1 793k 8 pm start
Rampage on TNT 549k 10 pm start
Smackdown won by 31%. Great night for pro wrestling.
These number’s show big changes are needed for Rampage.
It’s possible that the viewership will rise when the official viewership is revealed at the start of next week due to the Fast National being a quick roundup. However, looking at these, it’s not looking very good for Rampage, meaning that some massive changes are needed for the viewership to grow.
Currently, there are no rumours suggesting that Rampage is going to change the day of airing. But looking at the dipping numbers, a change of time and days needs to be put into effect for Rampage to grow.
