Andrade El Idolo is one of the latest signings for AEW. The character is growing and expanding into a gangster similar to DC’s Black Mass. That combined with his amazing abilities in the ring. The future of Andrade in AEW is looking bright, and we now know that Andrade has signed a 3-year contract. A lot can happen in the next three years, and we already have a couple of teases about what will happen within Andrade run.
Faction with FTR
First, it seems like Andrade El Idolo’s next big move will be to build a faction. There have been constant teases with him trying to get the Lucha Bros on their side. Then recently, a tease of FTR joining Andrade down the line and stealing them from MJF.
So it’s started to feel likely that Andrade will build up a faction pretty soon. Whether it’s the Lucha Bros, FTR or maybe someone completely different, it’s currently unknown. But we will know pretty soon with all the teases popping up every couple of weeks.
Future champions
The current TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara, seems to be just starting his run as TNT champion, but a big loss to a heel seems likely, and a feud between two factions of Inner Circle and Andrade may be on the cards in the future.
Then there is the likelihood that Kenny Omega will be losing to Hangman Adam Page at Full Gear. After this, it’s possible that, way down the line, Andrade could be the next in line after Adam Page. Of course, before then, Andrade will have to start having more matches, but currently, it’s definitely a possibility in the future.
