‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to start a new week by circling back to an old storyline while progressing on others.
This will be an emotionally heavy episode as we’ll be diving into the aftermath of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz)’s apparent death and Sutton Ames (Jack Landron)’s murder trial.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, October 25: Back on the support system
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have said since the beginning that we thought they’d kill Chance off to really torture Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), and it looks like it’s finally been done.
So, it looks like she’s going to continue being the focus for a while yet, but Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be there to help by giving her as much comfort and support as he can.
It’s going to be a tough time for both of them as Chance was the one Abby finally opened her heart to after years of keeping it locked tight, and Devon’s going to be feeling guilty.
For months, he’s ranted that Chance should be there instead of off on an assignment as the writers assassinated Chance’s character.
But now Chance will be remembered fondly and Devon will be sorry for what he said and it’ll draw him and Abby closer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, October 25: The case goes on
While everyone was wrapped up in a never ending wedding, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has been working on his case against Sutton, and he’s going to share his plan of action with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Not only is Amanda a brilliant lawyer that’ll have some helpful thoughts and ideas if Michael seeks them, but Sutton killed her father.
Amanda will be glad the case is moving forward and that Michael has a tight grasp on things, and she may want to be part of it in any way she can be to help.
It’ll be a slight conflict of interest, so Michael will try to keep her at arm’s length. She’ll understand and she’ll wait to see how it goes.
We’re not going to rule out he visiting Sutton at some point, but she’ll also probably be a witness, so she’ll have her say one way or another.
