‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
This could be a popcorn episode depending how things turn out on the wheeling and dealing and espionage angles.
We’re also prepared for things not to pan out as false flags have been the name of the game lately, but we’re hoping for the best.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, October 27: Enlisting a heavy hitter
With the latest chapter of the Newman and Abbott family war, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will try to get a wringer on their side by enlisting Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
When we say enlisted, we’re not so sure that’s going to be the accurate term per se as we think they’ll try. Since Billy deleted the information to protect her it should give them an edge and we’re sure Billy will use it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers also don’t think Victoria will be fully onboard with it as she doesn’t know the particulars of the plan and she’ll tell them as much.
There is also the possibility that Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) was used to feed her false information since he said he’s going to be completely open with her going forward.
It’ll be a trap Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will set for Billy as he’ll trust Victoria and any information she might give him, but that’s probably a couple of months down the line.
Anything she gives them will be limited, and they may end up planting a bug on her to find out more, but that feels like a stretch.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, October 27: Secret keepers
Things are going to go sideways at some point in the Chancellor estate as Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will keep a secret from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
This has the potential to be a good storyline, with the only downside is it’ll mean Abby will continued to be tortured, but it is what it is.
In this case, we think their secret is that Chance is alive and is either badly injured or was taken captive by the bad guys.
If Abby knew about either of those she’d insist or just go to him to try to help, and that’s not what Cricket and Ashley want her to do.
So they’ll keep it quiet until they know more or feel Abby will be able to handle it better. Cause it makes sense to let her think her husband is dead, right?
