    ‘Keeping Up With This Kardashians’ Spoilers finds that star, Kim Kardashian recently had an interview with Wall Street Journal, and she revealed that she hasn’t given up on her dreams of pursuing a career in law.  The SKIMS founder first spoke about becoming a lawyer in an interview with Vogue in April 2019. She shared her inspiration, her journey, a d the challenges she has faced. 

    Kim Kardashian’s Alternative Route

    Kim’s late dad, Robert Kardashian, was also an attorney, but the mother of four’s interest in law developed from her desire to help people. She told Vogue, “I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”

    Kim Kardashian Will Not Give Up On Her Dreams Of Becoming A Lawyer

    After college, the KUWTK star took an alternative route to follow her dreams.California is one of the three American states that allow people to take the bar exam by working with a lawyer for four years. Kim said that she took 18 hours/week out of her schedule to study with lawyers Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney.

    After working for a year, the applicant will need to pass the ‘First-Year Law Students’ Examination’, also called ‘baby bar’ so that they can continue their studies. However, Kim revealed din an episode of the E! Show thag she failed the exam. Kim made her first attempt at the exam and got a score of 474, but she needed  a score of 560 to qualify.

    After her interview with vogue, Kim was criticized for taking an unconventional path. In her response to her critics, Kim said, “I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case. The state bar doesn’t care who you are.”

    Kim Resat For The Baby Bar 

    Crirics’ comments did not stop Kim from resitting for the baby bar. She say for the exam in November 2020, but she failed again. Kim made a third attempt in the summer of 2021. In an interview wth the Wall Street Journal magazine in October 2021, she revealed that she failed the exams again. Kim said that she has a long way to go. 

    However, Kim has not given up on her dream to become a lawyer. She told the outlet that “Hopefully one day I can start a new law firm where we can help people pro bono and hire people who were formerly incarcerated. I don’t see me floating through a yacht. I think I’ll always feel good when I’m working.”
