There is no doubt that AEW is currently a rising company. With it looking more likely every week that AEW Dynamite will take over the Raw viewership. It’s possible that this could happen at any point soon. But the higher-ups in WWE are bothered about this. One is Vince, who did not care about the ratings and reported by Wrestling Observer that WWE higher-ups are in denial, thinking that the AEW viewership has a ceiling.
When will we see WWE react?
It’s possible that we won’t see WWE react to AEW viewership until they beat them. But looking at Raw and Dynamite’s viewership, it’s likely this could happen at any point. It seems like when this happens, WWE will then take AEW as a competition, with them being one of their main shows.
However, it is still likely that WWE won’t change until Dynamite beats Smackdown, and that feels like it won’t happen for a while. The denial of AEW may show the reason why we have seen near to no changes for WWE.
When will AEW beat WWE viewership?
It’s looking like; currently, AEW won’t beat WWE until they move their show to TBS. As currently, the show does kind of get thrown around and bumped to other times slots when it’s on a roll. It’s likely that if AEW stays on Wednesday nights every week without random changes in time. Then there’s the fact that WWE will most likely change networks as it’s been mentioned that FOX and USA networks aren’t that happy with WWE.
