Yesterday it was reported that Charlotte Flair was supposed to do media segments to help promote the WWE but he was pulled from them.
The timing is definitely interesting give her recent argument with Becky Lynch backstage on last week’s Smackdown.
It’s not the first time she’s had a problem with someone as a few weeks ago Flair and Nia Jax got into it in the ring and the prevailing theory is she’s become a diva because of her star power.
Some evidence to this is that the Fox network allegedly requested for her to be on Smackdown.
Or she could simply doing what’s best for her and her persona and feathers are ruffled for her not buying all in on the over scripted segments.
And they pulled it https://t.co/Kib32E6swg

Honestly, in my opinion her not handing the title over to Lynch is something her current character would do.
She wouldn’t just hand it over to a rival as that would make no sense for her to do that and the segment worked better for it had others gone along with it from what we saw. But there’s always more to the story behind the scenes for all sides.
Tricky situation
This brings up a good question that if she is starting to rebel how does the WWE handle her?
While pulling her from media segments could be seen as a punishment, it’s also more likely to protect her, and the WWE of course, from people asking her the details of the situation.
The real key will be to see if she appears on Smackdown tonight. If there’s truth to Fox requesting her, then it won’t go over well if she not there.
WWE has reportedly made habit of causing Fox and USA frustration over the steady run of low ratings and another mark wouldn’t be in the WWE’s best interest.
But neither is letting an alleged diva run rampant.
AEW sighting to come?
There’s been talk among Flair fans that she could or should appear in the audience at the next AEW Dynamite.
This would hasten things if it’s Flair’s intention to get released, though Vince McMahon may be just as liable to bury her for the bulk of her remaining contract.
This is where things will get dicey for the WWE when it comes to whether or not they should punish Charlotte Flair. If the locker room is against her they my not have a choice.
