Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
We’re set for the next stop in the new season as Smackdown takes over FS1 once again.
This should be an interesting episode as we’ll see some good matches and we’ll see if Charlotte Flair makes an appearance, and if not what the WWE’s reasoning will be.
We’ll be back to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling at the 8 p.m. EST.
Segment 1
Charlotte Flair out and Sasha Banks followed her and tried to get another title match but Flair refused.
Flair then gave a shot to Shotzi when we come back.
Segment 2
Championship Contenders Match – Charlotte Flair vs. Shotzi
This is a really good match early on as Shotzi held her own enough to stay alive, then hit a dive through the ropes on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was an awesome match Flair won with a Natural Selection after Banks accidentally distracted Shotzi.
Shotzi completely destroyed Banks after wards. This could be a fun feud.
Segment 4
Adam Pearce fined Brock Lesnar $1 million on top of his suspension for last week, and Heyman defended Lesnar before he caught himself.
Segment 5
Drew McIntyre vs. Mustafa Ali
Ali accepted McIntyre’s open challenge, but after a good effort McIntyre made him tap out to a Kamora Lock.
Segment 6
King Xavier Woods knights Kofi Kingston
Woods knighted Kofi and the Usos came out. After mocking each other, Woods decreed they will have a Trial by Fire Match tonight and the Usos accepted.
Segment 7
Trick or Street Fight – Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
This started fast and even a run in by Reggie and Drew Gulak didn’t break the action as Boogs dunked Moss in a bobbing for apples tub as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was a fun match Moss won after hitting a neckbreacker on Boogs onto a pumpkin. It came about after Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, in costumes, hit Boogs with kendos sticks.
Segment 9
Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler
Sonya Deville added herself as the referee after claiming the one scheduled was injured last week by Lesnar.
A quick count later and Naomi lost, and Baszler locked in the Karafuna Clutch for good measure. This storyline jumped the shark a while back. Can we please forget this is a thing and put everyone in decent feuds?
Segment 10
The Usos vs. The New Day
This started out fast as the New Day took control early, but the Usos caught Kofi’s leap to the floor and threw him into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
A good match ended when Woods blind tagged in and rolled Jey up for the win.
This was a pretty good night, though we’re surprised there was no Roman Reigns, but everyone deserves a time off.
