WWE Smackdown Results returned and are curious why a championship contender’s match is needed since they’re already in a championship match at Crown Jewel.

As expected, Bianca Belair came out to sit at ringside. Good thing the WWE isn’t too predictable.

Lynch and Banks locked up and exchanged arm bars. Lynch then it with a shoulder block, and then rolled Banks up for a pin attempt.

They exchanged various pin attempts for a couple of minutes as they put on a clinic early on.

Lynch hammered Banks down and went for the Dis-Arm-Her while Banks tried to hit the Backstabber as they exchanged moves.

After getting her shots in, Banks was on the receiving end of a couple of snap moves by Lynch for a near pinfall.

Lynch started to take over, but Banks broke her momentum and slammed Lynch into the ring post.

Lynch dodged Banks’ double knees and Banks hit the ring post and Lynch slammed her into the ring apron and rolled her into the ring for a pin attempt.

Lynch threw banks to the floor for a count out, but Banks made it back in at the 9 count.

Lynch pounded away on Banks with rights and knees and hit a running bulldog for a pin attempt. She locked in a Camel Clutch, but it was a sloppy attempt and Banks managed to get out of it.

Banks hit Three Amigos and went for a pin attempt but Lynch kicked out at two.

    Belair determines the winner

Lynch caught Banks with a combination through the ropes and then slapped on a Dis-Arm-Her through the ropes before hitting a leg drop on Banks who was draped in the ropes for a near pinfall.

Banks countered Lynch’s attempt and pulled Lynch into the ring post, and then hit a meteora against the ring post and then in the ring.

Banks hit a third meteora from the top rope for a near pinfall.

Banks managed to hit a backstabber and Lynch rolled to the floor in front of the announce desk. Banks went for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Lynch countered into a leg drop on the apron.

Banks caught Lynch off the ring steps and locked in a Bank Statement and threw her into the ring to hit a frog splash for a near pinfall.

Banks hammered away on Lynch, and Lynch struck back but ate a double knee. Lynch caught her second attempt and hit a Beck-Sploder for a pin attempt but she had a foot on the ropes.

Lynch hit a leg drop off the ropes for another near pinfall. Banks dodged a leg drop off the ropes and pulled Lynch to the floor.

Lynch shoved her back into Belair, and Banks ducked and Lynch nailed Belair.

They got back into the ring, and Lynch got her knees up to counter Banks’ splash.

Another exchange of pin attempts followed until Banks hit the Backstabber and locked in the Bank Statement but Lynch made it to the ropes to break it.

Belair whipped Lynch’s arm with her hair and Banks hit another Backstabber for the win.

This was a great pay-per-view level match until Belair distracted Lynch.

Adam Pearce came out to get things set up for the contract singing.

    Universal Championship Contract Signing

Roman Reigns came out with Paul Heyman at his side. Brock Lesnar came out next to a good pop from the crowd.

Once in the ring, they sized each other up before Lesnar took his set and propped his feet up on the table, laughing at Reigns the whole time.

Heyman reviewed the contract, and then handed the pen to Reigns and said the contract is everything he requested and his council is for Reigns to sign it and Reigns did.

    — WWE (@WWE) October 16, 2021

Heyman then threw the pen out of the ring and Lesnar signed it without looking at it.

Reigns called Lesnar out for signing it without reading it. Laughing, Lesnar told him he already read it this morning with his advocate Paul Heyman.

Lesnar then left the ring and Reigns looked pissed and Heyman was scared.

This was a perfect ending as Lesnar continued messing with Reigns’ head. What did you think of it? let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results.
