Kanye West has revealed that Kim Kardashian was not a fan of his when he made the decision to wear the red caps associated with former United States President Donald Trump.
Kanye West Admits That Kim Kardashian Did Not Like Him Wearing Donald Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ Hats
The caps, which were emblazoned with ‘Make America Great Again’, raised outrage within the community given that Kanye was criticised for supporting someone that had been accused of being racist against people of colour.
In an official statement, Kayne said: “Good Lord, my wife did not like me wearing the red hat. Being a good wife, [Kim] wanted to protect me and our family.
“I made me and our family a target by not aligning with Hollywood’s political stance, and that was hard for our marriage.”
To make matters even worse, Kanye admitted that Kim was also not pleased by his own Presidential campaign. That is not to say that Kim did not support his campaign, but rather, it was the way in which he approached it.
During one of his rallies, Kanye broke down in public when he discussed how he considered getting their daughter North aborted. And given that it was such a private matter, Kim was not pleased when the media got wind of it.
Kanye added: “I ran for president without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I embarrassed my wife in the way that I presented information about our family.”
It is important to remember that Kanye has suffered from bio-poplar disorder, which may explain his outbursts which have often been interpreted as random and unexpected.
And yet, it all became too much for Kim to put up with, which ultimately led to their relationship breaking down. In a statement at the time, Kim had remarked: “Kanye has bi-polar disorder.
“I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.”
Kanye will continue speaking his mind, and that is something that has made him resonate with so many people. But there is a feeling that he ends up doing more harm than good.
