Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has admitted that she avoided taking pictures this Thanksgiving as she continues to recover from second-degree burns.

The star had sustained those burns after she had decided to undertake some treatment in order to combat her psoriasis. Unfortunately, however, the procedure did not go as planned as she ended up suffering from damage to her face.
As a result, Brandi decided to undertake some treatment in order to alleviate the impact. This had the consequence of her becoming very camera shy in what would have been an otherwise photogenic occasion.
In a post to her fans on Twitter, Brandi shared a picture of her face which was covered by a cream. The post was captioned with the following comments: “I had a beautiful Thanksgiving with my modern family.
“I didn’t take any photos because I’m healing from a snow peel. My face is swollen. My left eyelid barely works, but hopefully, it will help with my scars from Covid and my burns.”
Rather than Brandi receiving some sympathy towards what she was going through, the response on social media was not too kind to her.
Many people began to criticise what they believed to be a complete transformation of the star at the expense of her natural beauty being compromised.
One person on Twitter wrote: “Girrrrllll…. Whatever happened to your mouth???,” while another stated: “Was wondering the same [her mouth] thing! And she was such an attractive woman.”
The reaction towards Brandi’s appearances has been picked up by the star herself. She has opened up on the trauma that she has suffered as a result of the continual social media criticism that has followed.
These comments only went on to damage her confidence and took away the extrovert nature that she was so well known for during her time on the show.
In a prior interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brandi remarked: “When I finally did an interview in Australia, other people picked it up and were like, ‘Brandi looks completely different. She looks crazy!’ They were so mean.”
