Solo Sikoa made a name for himself last week at Halloween Havoc, when he took out both LA Knight & Grayson Waller. However, a beatdown is one thing – and in-ring debut is another altogether. Sikoa comes from wrestling royalty though was abandoned by his family and had to fend for himself. He would seek to prove why he’s known asThe Street Champion of the Island as he hits the ring for some action.
Jeet Rama Learns How Solo Sikoa Survived On The Streets
Sikoa would look like a merged version of Umaga and both Usos, a dangerous mix. His opponent was Jeet Rama – finally making it to NXT after years in the Performance Center. Sikoa would brutalize Rama, booting him into the corner and nailing an uppercut. Rama fired back with some punches, before again being driven into the corner and nailed with a signature hip attack.
Sikoa would nail a Buzzsaw Kick, and the crowd was loving him. He’d head to the top rope and nail a top rope splash, closing this one out in record time. Will be interesting to see what he could do in a longer match. Seems like WWE has a star in the making however, if this debut is anything to go by.
Boa Showing His Potential Against Grayson Waller, LA Knight Gives An Assist
Over the past few weeks, Boa has been putting in the work on 205 Live. He’s gotten back to back wins over Jeet Rama, and a recent win over Andre Chase on NXT 2.0 as well. Tonight however is one of his biggest tests yet, as he faces Grayson Waller. Waller hosted a helluva Halloween party, but ended up on the wrong side of a beating from Solo Sikoa, which he will hope to bounce back from tonight.
Knight was on commentary for this one, wanting nothing more than to see Waller fall tonight. Boa would throw some kicks to start, before being rolled up for a one count. Waller would get another near fall off a snapmare, before dodging some strikes with some weaving. Boa would catch Waller in the ropes and stomp him down.
Waller had to slip out of a double arm clutch, nailing some knee strikes before a huge forearm blow. Knight would take a walk and distract Waller who was ready to fly. Boa took advantage with a head kick, getting the win.
Tomasso Ciampa Is Still Leading NXT 2.0 Into The Future
It was far from easy for Ciampa to defeat the rookie Bron Breakker last week at Halloween Havoc. Breakker took everything Ciampa had to offer, proving that someday soon he will be the top dog in WWE. However, for now? Ciampa remains NXT Champion, and tonight will address everyone – and maybe we will find out who has the balls to step up to Ciampa next.
Hitting the ring, Ciampa wouldn’t exactly get a hero’s welcome from the crowd. However, no one has ever been able to take that belt from him, not even Bron Breakker. It was a changing of the guard last week, new champions everywhere – but he remains on top. Breakker couldn’t get the job done, he earned some respect, Ciampa is the god of NXT.
He welcomes the target on his back, and Carmelo Hayes would hit the ring. Hayes claims to be the A-Champion of NXT, but Ciampa is the only one that can claim otherwise. However, it’s not about the old guard anymore, there’s a new school on the rise and Hayes is the leader (not Andre Chase), and Ciampa takes a back seat to him.
Ciampa would see the doubt in the eyes of Hayes, and if Melo wants to prove himself? Jump into the deep waters. Williams claimed there was already a main event set, but got punched in the jaw. Hayes would back away from a fiery Ciampa, and this clash will have to wait. The music of Gargano would hit, and Ciampa would see his old partner and rival, and perhaps another clash between them is due.
