WWE Smackdown Results returned as Aliyah was on the phone about losing her spot on Survivor Series when Mustafa Ali came up to her and started his spiel when Ricochet interrupted them and told her not to listen to him and keep her head high and move forward.
Jeff Hardy vs. Sami Zayn
This should be a fun one and the loser loses their spot on the Survivor Series team.
After an early exchange of armbars, Jeff nailed him with a flip and pin attempt, then hammered away on him in the corner.
Zayn nailed a knee and took control, but when he slipped out of the ring Jeff hit a baseball slide and then threw him into the barricade but missed his senton into the barricade as we headed to commercial.

Back from the break, they were in the ring and Zayn went for a pin attempt.
Jeff fought back with a combination of moves for a near pinfall, and Zayn wasn’t happy.
Zayn countered a Twist of Fate for a backslide for a near pinfall, and then he rolled Jeff up and used the ropes but the ref saw it.
Jeff hit a Twist of Fate while he argued with the ref, and Jeff finished him with a swanton bomb.
Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman vs. King Woods
Woods started out trying an armbar and Reigns clocked him and then the two of them exchanged hammering away on each other in the corner.
Woods sent Reigns to the floor with a dropkick, and then he ate another dropkick through the ropes. Woods slammed him face first into the announce desk before heading into the ring where he ran into a right hand.
Reigns his a yurinagi slam on the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Back from the break, they’re back in the ring with Reigns still in control but Woods tried to fight back with a headbutt and a series of rights.

Woods then ran into a big boot for a pin attempt. Woods continued fighting back and hit a DDT through the ropes to buy himself some time.
Woods hit a flurry of strikes and a heel kick for a near pinfall attempt on Reigns.
Reigns caught Woods off the top rope with a yurinagi for a near pinfall, and Reigns then readied for a Superman Punch but Woods caught him with a superkick.
Woods sidestepped his spear attempt and Reigns hit the ringpost. Woods hit a coast to coast flying elbow for the pin but the Usos pulled him from the win for a DQ and then beat him down with the ring steps.
Reigns took a knee in the ring and the Usos placed Woods’ crown on him.
By kneeling, he avoided the stipulation if he lost and keeps the Universal Championship. This was a great match, and the ending is about as imaginative as we’ve come to expect from the WWE.
