Roman Reigns has been hard on The New Day since Xavier Woods won King of the Ring. He’s done his best to take out both Kofi & King Woods, but now the powerhouse of the New Day is up. Trick is, he’s on Monday Night RAW and proving himself as WWE Champion. Reigns is WWE Universal Champion. It’s champion vs. champion, it’s Survivor Series, let’s see if Big E can finally be the one to humble Reigns!
Roman Reigns & Big E Bust Out Their Heavy Hits For This Main Event Clash
Reigns would lock up to start this one off, but it was a stalemate. Another lockup, and Big E won this time – shoving Reigns into the corner and out of the ring. Paul Heyman would psych Reigns up, before he’d get into the ring and trade blows with Big E. Reigns got the upperhand, and would rain down blows in the corner.
Big E tried to get a back body drop but it was countered, before he’d leapfrog Reigns and hit a back elbow and big boot. Setting Reigns up on the apron, Big E would look to nail the running splash, but Reigns rolled out of the way. Back in the ring, Reigns nailed a running elbow for a two count. Big boot would get two, and Reigns looked eager to get this one done.
He’d throw Big E out of the ring, and could have gotten the countout win but went out to get Big E. After talking some trash, Big E would counter an irish whip, and sent Reigns into the steps. Back in the ring, Big E nailed a big suplex, gyrated a bit, and hit the running splash. Reigns would run into the uranage, getting Big E a two count. He’d apply the Stretch Muffler, but Reigns was able to counter out.
Neither Champion Knows The Word Quit
Reigns loaded up a superman punch but missed – only to catch Big E with a Rock Bottom. Two superman punches, and Big E was still getting up. A third, and Big E was back up and looking for Big Ending. Reigns instead went to the apron, and took the spear through the ropes. Back in the ring, Reigns hit a spear of his own for a two count. Reigns was talking trash, but Big E was getting back to his feet.
Claiming Big E doesn’t belong in this ring was a mistake, as Big E rushed him into the corner on the choke attempt. Big E went for the apron spear again, but was choked out on the ropes. Now in the middle of the ring, Reigns applied it again and Big E countered into the Big Ending! Too close to the ropes sadly, so Reigns grabbed the bottom rope.
On the outside, Big E would be run into the steel steps, and Reigns hit Superman Punch #4. Back in the ring, Big Ending was countered and Reigns hit the winning spear. A proper heavyweight brawl, and Reigns won clean tonight.
