Lately, having job security in WWE has been harder to find than a win over Roman Reigns. They have released 82 members of the roster from their contracts since the start of 2021, with even major names like Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman not safe. This has everyone thinking about their plans if WWE is to cut their contracts, and Xavier Woods would be more secure than most.
Xavier Woods Has Done All He Wants In Professional Wrestling
When it comes to Xavier Woods, he’s had a great career in WWE. Things were shaky in NXT and with a failed tag team alongside R-Truth, but with The New Day? He became one of the biggest stars in WWE. He wrestled at Wrestlemania, within Hell in a Cell, and won King of The Ring. While speaking with SportsKeeda, he’d reveal anything else that comes to him in WWE is just a bonus now.
“I feel they are all kind of connected because I feel like I’m essentially trying to do the same thing everywhere. I’m just trying to be the best version of myself in that space, I guess, is the best way to put it. So, as far as wrestling with New Day, we’ve been able to accomplish so many things as a tag team, and that’s been my focus as a kid. I love tag team wrestling, and I love King of the Ring. So, as far as wrestling goals, now I’m on bonus time. If they would have been like, ‘Hey, you won King of the Ring,’ and they came back and hit me with the ‘You’re fired,’ I would have been like, ‘Okay, deuces, it has been a fun ride.”

Considering Xavier Woods was able to grow a YouTube channel to 4 million loyal viewers with UpUpDownDown, without getting much in the way of payment from WWE – he’d be fine. He’s involved with the G4 reboot, and his natural charisma could open many doors for Woods outside of WWE. His attitude is a good one in these bleak days, as truly anyone beyond their top stars are safe.
