‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into the holidays with some fun spoilery goodies.
Nothing like the holidays to bring out the best cheesiness around, and we’re going to be hip deep in it as the show ramps up their efforts to create the perfect moment not once but twice.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday December 23: The meaning of Christmas
We’re going to get at least one Christmas classic shown through the eyes of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as they’re reminded about the true meaning of Christmas.
This should be a fun segment as Victor and Nikki will look back at where they started and all the close calls they had to help them appreciate what they have now.
Along the way, we’ll probably see plenty of flashbacks to their own quarrels as well as those with their family. This will allow them to feel proud of bringing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) back into the fold in time for the holiday.
Not that it was ever questioned about his return. Nick needs validation from Victor to help his weak spine stand firm, but the biggest will be Victor’s stubbornness bringing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into the family when everyone else was against it.
And when we look at helping to bring Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) into the family and helping to make Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) happy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have a feeling things are going to go crazy next week, so we’d better enjoy these calm moments while we can.

While Victor and Nikki will need to be reminded how precious these moments are, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be emerged in the Christmas spirit as they get ready to celebrate.
We looking at this as Billy and Lily are where Victor and Nikki were twenty or so years ago before countless battles, arguments, and drama planted a cynical seed.
While the Newmans have grown accustomed to having everything at their beck and call, Billy and Lily are just starting out in what could be an awesome run.
They’re young and appreciate everything that have, which gives us cause to expect them to possibly lose something in the near future to honor the Newman’s renewed belief and wisdom.
Whatever happens in the coming weeks, we’re going to enjoy these moments as they’re few and far between. What are your favorite Christmas memories with the Newmans and Abbotts?
