‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week fresh off the holiday, and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to share.
We’re going to get some fun relationship problems in this one and they have the potential to lead to some good storylines down the road and, with any luck, the payoff will be worth it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Evening the debt
Since Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) was shot protecting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and then told him they were even and he didn’t want to see him again, this one is a head scratcher.
We think Adam’s going to be feeling guilty and somehow at fault for Chance going off and almost getting killed despite Adam never being able to repay his debt.
The problem here is Chance may not be wanting to hear from Adam on anything, and it may even push Chance’s survivor’s guilt he’s dealing with that no one seems to have noticed or cared enough to get him some help dealing with it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’s likely this conversation could give Chance a nudge toward the edge he’s been walking and things could get ugly.
Adam won’t mean to, but he could create his next worst enemy he’ll have to deal with over the next few months.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Sally gets the message
It looks like there are going to be some other fun and games going on as Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will send a message to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and things could get interesting.
We think Chelsea will send a message to talk with Sally and the threats to back off from Adam will come during then. It makes sense since Chelsea will want to appear professional while staking her claim.
Of course, she could buy flowers for herself and make it look like they’re from Adam and they’ll arrive when Sally’s there. That could make things really entertaining as their rivalry heats up.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Nate helps out
It looks like Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have to weigh in on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)’s current obsession with seeing his son as much as possible.
This could be because Nate is asked for his thoughts or because he sees how uncomfortable things are getting for Devon with Chance involved.
He’ll probably tell Devon to back off and fulfill his agreement while also telling him to follow his heart if he feels the pull is too strong.
In the end, Nate will try to help him but Devon’s the only one that can step up and make things work. Will he be strong enough to stay away or will he dive in and cause problems with Chance?
